Prof. Polshettiwar has been recommended for Young Career Award in Nano Science & Technology for the year 2020 by Nano Mission, Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. He will receive the award during International Conference on Nano S&T (ICONSAT-2020) during 5-7 March, 2019 at Kolkata.

Mr. Amit Mishra's work on perfecting defects in nanomaterials (imperfections) and make them catalytically active for transforming CO2 to fuel, is now accepted for publication in reputed PNAS (USA). This work is a kind of fundamental breakthrough for our goal to achieve a sustainable process for CO2 to fuel conversion, as it does not use any metal and ligand.
